http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#!/home.php?sk=group_138561499539198&ap=1

In 1839, a bounty was put on the Newfoundland wolf, and just like much of North America, the wolf was completely wiped out. Then, in 1904, the moose, a new species is introduced to the Island without having a top predator. As a result, moose populations have exploded, causing over grazing and numerous vehicular accidents on Newfoundland highways. It is also known that the wolf will keep coyote populations in check. The wolf is a benefit to any eco-system that it calls its territory.
